Joe Cada’s turbulent final table journey came to the best possible end early this morning as he claimed the World Series crown along with the title of youngest ever Main Event winner, stripping Peter Eastgate’s record after only a year in place.

Joe Cada is the World Series Of Poker Main event champion. After a much tougher heads up battle than many commentators anticipated, the 21-year-old finally saw off Maryland logger Darvin Moon after over 90 hands of play.

November Two – it’s Moon vs. Cada for the title
After almost eighteen hours of play at The Rio, two players emerged from the November Nine – sadly, not Phil Ivey nor James Akenhead, but amateur poker player/professional logger Darvin Moon and online pro Joe Cada - who will face off tonight for the bracelet and over $8,000,000.
November Nine World Series of Poker final table report
The atmosphere at the beginning of the day was incredible at The Rio, with an audience of thousands cheering for their heroes – Phil Ivey was an overwhelming fan favourite, receiving a minute-long standing ovation as he was introduced.

PokerStars announce November Nine freeroll series
November Nine, November Nine, November Nine – sick of hearing that yet? We didn’t think so, and apparently neither did PokerStars. In honour of the WSOP final table being played out this weekend and concluding on Monday, PokerStars are offering a November Nine freeroll series with some big bucks to be won.

Phil Ivey’s odds to win the World Series of Poker Main Event in a few days time have been slashed – Party Bets has cut his odds from 5-1 all the way down to 7-2, making him an outright favourite to win the Main Event despite being currently in 7th place.
