Biography

Ross Boatman is known to the non-poker playing public (yes, those freaks) for his role as Kevin Medhurst in the popular UK TV series London’s Burning, but to us, he’ll always be one quarter of the Hendon Mob and the younger brother of Barny Boatman.

Like the rest of the Mob, Ross made his name as a contestant on Late Night Poker in the early noughties, reaching the final in the second series where he was defeated by Simon Trumper.

In 2002, Ross made the final table of the WSOP PLO event, as did Barny; the two becoming the first brothers to make the same WSOP final table. He also made the final table of the second EPT Grand Final, finishing sixth for €140,000. In 2009 he won the WPT Marrakech High Roller for €135,535.
