Still a few tickets left for this weekend's Poker Academy Boot Camp

Still a few tickets left for this weekend's Poker Academy Boot Camp

Friday, 7 May 2010

The latest two-day Bluff Europe Poker Academy takes place at London's Victoria Casino this weekend and as well as some top quality tuition there's the small matter of a WSOP package on offer.

Blackbeltpoker.com founders Neil Channing and Nik Persaud will once again be sharing their expertise on all manner of poker related subject matter alongside our very own Alex Rousso. Participants will also get the opportunity to win a package to this year's World Series Of Poker worth $2,500 including the buy in for a $1,500 event plus $1,000 for travel and accommodation. Given the number of players currently registered for the tournament it should be incredibly good value.

Sadly, newly named Full Tilt pro Annette Obrestad has had to pull out of the event. The former WSOPE winner was pencilled in as a guest lecturer but commitments with her new sponsor mean that she's in Las Vegas at the moment.

“Annette is very disappointed that she can’t be involved,” said master of ceremonies Alex Rousso, “But we can assure the punters that they won’t be missing out on any value. The lecture series will include unbeatable advice on such topics as variance and bankroll management, analysing flop textures and visualising range equity calculations from some of the finest poker minds in the country.”

One man who will definitely be there though is Des Fitzpatrick who won Tuesday night's Boot Camp satellite. There are still a limited number of seats available for what promises to be an excellent event. The full schedule and details of how to book tickets for the two-day Boot Camp can be found at Poker Academy Boot Camp.
