Wednesday, 2 May 2012

The French Riviera has been the centre of the poker world for the past few days courtesy of the EPT Grand Final and many of the game's biggest names will be returning there later this year for the Partouche Poker Tour final.

Organisers of this year's event have confirmed that a total of €5m in prize money will be up for grabs in the €8,500 Main Event which runs from 3-9 September at the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes. For the first time, players will be able to re-enter on Day 1B.

In addition to the Main Event, players will also be able to take part in PLO and hold'em side events with a €25,000 High Roller tournament scheduled for the deep pocketed few.

Sam Trickett capped his annus mirabilis by taking down the €1m first prize in the 2011 Partouche Poker Tour finale.
