Sam Trickett wins Partouche Poker Tour

Monday, 14 November 2011

The Partouche Poker Tour concluded its own November Nine last night with Partouche Poker TourSam Trickett winning the €1m first prize; amazingly this is his third seven-figure score of 2011. With this, he also moves to the top of the England all-time tournament money list ahead of the Devilfish.

Trickett, who netted $2.4m at the Aussie Millions in January with a first and second place in the super high roller events, beat Salman Behbehani heads-up after overcoming a 2-1 chip deficit.

He ground his way back up to the chip lead he had held at the start of nine-handed play before calling Salman’s pre-flop 5-bet with T-T, flipping a coin against A-J. He held on a blank flop and won the €400,000 flip.

The final table placing and payouts were as follows:

1. Sam Trickett €1,000,000
2. Salman Behbehani €600,000
3. Oleksii Kovalchuk €379,760
4. Ilan Boujenah €300,000
5. Roger Hairabedian €230,000
6. Alexander Dovzhenko €190,000
7. Mustapha Kanit €160,000
8. Alexandre Cousy €130,000
9. Mads Wissing €100,000
