East End Live II starts today

Friday, 10 May 2013

Neil Channing and the rest of the BlackBeltPoker gang will be forsaking their laptops for the live arena over the next few days as East End Live II hits Aspers in London.

A prize pool of $50,000 is up for grabs in the $225 buy-in event with the first of two opening flights getting under way at 1pm today. A second flight follows on Saturday. In addition to a hefty cash prize, the winner will also receive a WSOP seat.

As in previous BlackBeltPoker.com events there are plenty of bounty prizes on offer with scalps on the likes of James Dempsey, Joe Beevers, defending champ Sonny Pomroy and Neil Channing himself.

Other notable names who'll be hitting the tables at Aspers over the next couple of days include Sky Poker pundit Jen Mason, this month's Genting Poker Big Game winner Chaz Chattha and WPT South Africa winner Jerome Bradpiece.

The event is expected to be a complete sell out so if you want to play be quick and register online at BlackBeltPoker.com.

The aforementioned Sonny Pomroy won last year's East End Live event, pocketing $13,300 after outlasting a 392-runner field.
