Bluff Europe Poker Academy starts on Saturday

The first Bluff Europe Poker Academy at Manchester’s 235 Casino will take place on Sunday 26th April. The event will feature a series of interactive lectures followed by four hours of tournament play, all under the watchful eye of some of the top pros in the game. Topics covered will include “the Theory of Poker”, luck and variance, mastering tilt, dealing with defeat, and bankroll management.

Instructors lined up include doctor of psychology and Bluff Europe columnist Alex Rousso, Paul ‘Action’ Jackson and Ian Frazer. After the Manchester leg the Academy heads to the Broadway, Birmingham on Saturday 9th May and Sporting Emporium, Dublin on 16th May with Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott joining the coaching staff. The final Academy takes place at Casino at the Empire in London with Phil Laak joining Alex Rousso in the pro seat.


“This is a great opportunity for intermediate players to come along and improve their game by learning from some of the best players in the country and hopefully have a lot of fun at the same time,” said Master of Ceremonies Alex Rousso.
