Seminar 5 – Advanced Tournament Strategy
Join me, Paul Zimbler, as we concentrate on advanced tournament dynamics. We look at the structures of different types of tournaments and how best to play them, from single table tournaments to larger events, as well as how the payout structure affects our strategy. We’ll also be doing some detailed hand analysis.

Paul Zimbler has been on the poker circuit since 1996. He is predominantly a cash player, although he has also enjoyed success in tournaments. When Paul started he was one of the only young players in the game. He has managed to stay afloat and has also adapted to the changes in the game over the last 14 years. Paul was involved with many on line sites in the past but now is focused on building The International Poker School (TIPS) and giving back to the poker community, as well as helping new players to the game. Having moved to Marbella in 2000, he opened the coasts first poker club 5th Street Marbella and got his nickname “The Marbella Kid”. From there he travelled the world living the life as a poker player and managed to make several final tables. He also won the Moroccan championship five times. More recently he is known for his poker TV appearances, such as Late Night Poker, The Poker Million, The World Open and others. Paul’s plans for the future include winning the WSOP. |
