Il s'est retrouvé le premier sorti en huitième position, suivi de Dan Heimiller septième, Dustin Dirksen en sixième, Pieter Tielen en cinquième et le pro PokerStars Alexandre Gomes en quatrième position, en l'espace de trois heures.La bataille entre les trois derniers, dont l'enjeu était clairement le premier prix de $3 millions (ElkY va pas être content, il n'avait remporté que 2 millions l'année dernière) aura elle duré 5 heures.Poorya Nazari arrivera dans la bagarre avec quasiment deux fois de chips que ses adversaires, avec 13,590,000 jetons contre 10,435,000 pour Benny Spindler, et 2,865,000 pour Anthony Gregg. Benny se retrouvera le premier malchanceux, du mauvais côté d'un pile ou face, et empochera les 1.1 millions de dollars réservés à la troisième place. Anthony Gregg est alors clairement dominé dans le heads-up, et ne parviendra pas à renverser la vapeur. Il terminera deuxième avec tout de même $1.7 millions pour se consoler. Le Canadien Poorya Nazari est donc le champion du Main Event du PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2009, et remporte les 3 millions de dollars du premier prix.
