Victor Ramdin ha ganado a Joe Hachem para llevarse el título de “The Big Event” en el Bicycle Casino en Los Angeles, California, EEUU.
Ramdin llegó a la mesa final en segundo lugar en cantidad de fichas y Hachem ocupaba en cuarto lugar. El profesional Jeremy Ausmus llegó como chip leader y fue bastante difícil de eliminar con sus más de 4 millones de puntos en fichas de stack inicial. Finalmente salió en tercer lugar para llevarse 190.000 $.Ramdin, quien no ha ganado un torneo grande desde el World Poker Tour Foxwoods Poker Classic en abril del 2006, se llevó el título y 500.000 $ del primer premio mientras Hachem regresa a casa con 300.000 $. El triunfo le llevó al sexto lugar en la carrera para Jugador del Año. Hachem ya ha ganado más de 11 millones de dólares en su torneos en vivo.
