El primero torneo se celebrará en San José del 3 al 5 de noviembre de 2008 en el Centro de conferencias Herradura de esa ciudad. La entrada del LAPT de San José será de $3.500 + $200. Esta segunda temporada del LAPT constará de seis torneos incluirá a México, Chile, Brasil, Uruguay y Argentina.El año pasado fue Valdemar Kwaysser, un jugador que clasificó en línea, quien se llevó el LAPT de San José que tuvo $274.103 como el primer premio.
