La Consejería de Interior y Justicia de Castilla multará a los jugadores y a los bares que permitan las partidas de póquer con o sin dinero.
“Las sanciones para los jugadores serán de 300 euros y llegarán hasta los 60.000 para los hosteleros que autoricen las partidas”, afirmó el martes pasado el secretario general de la consejería, Luis Miguel González, según informa el periódico El Norte de Castilla (nortecastilla.es).La ley ha estado en vigor desde el 24 de junio de 1998. Prohíbe jugar al póquer con o sin dinero fuera de los casinos - Boecillo (Valladolid), Salamanca y León - los únicos establecimientos autorizados para ello.La censura inclyue a domicilios: “El póquer es un juego exclusivo de los casinos y sólo está autorizada la práctica de los denominados juegos tradicionales y familiares -mus, cinquillo, tute, brisca,...”.
