El sueco Cister Johansson ha ganado a la presentadora del European Poker Tour, Kara Scott, en el heads-up para ganar el Irish Open 2009.
El líder en chips al inicio de la mesa final fue Andrew Pantling quien se llevó en tercer lugar. Johansson y Scott no fueron muy bien posicionados al entrar la mesa final pero se construyeron sus propios stacks para empezar el heads-up as: Johansson 3,7 millones contra 3,2 de Scott.
