La empresa fabricante de naipes española Fournier ha revelado su nuevos productos en la conferencia de la industria del juego SAGSE 2009.
Fournier reveló presentó en la última edición de la South American Gaming Suppliers Expo (SAGSE) los naipes en cartulina y plástico exclusivos para casinos. La presencia de Fournier se extiende desde Europa, pasando por Asia, Estados Unidos, Canadá, Latinoamérica y también África. En conjunto con su empresa hermana, la US Playing Cards, que fabrica naipes en cartulina, han capturado a 70% del mercado de casinos. El Manager de Exportaciones de Fournier, Roberto Perea, dijo: “En Europa, el naipe de plástico es el más utilizado. En cambio América Latina solicita mayormente cartulina, a excepción de los torneos de póker donde se utiliza el plástico debido al tipo de juego y la resistencia de la baraja”.
