El Casino de Barcelona fue el anfitrión de la quinta etapa del European Poker Tour (EPT) de PokerStars desde el 22 al 27 de noviembre.
758 jugadores de 53 países participaron en el evento principal, d los cuales 121 españoles fue Jesús Cortés de Zaragoza quien sorprendió a todos con su segundo lugar. El jugador sueco Kent Lundmark se llevó un premio enorme de 825.000 euros, mientras Cortés se ha llevado 525.000 euros por su segundo lugar.Con este resultado, Cortés, de 22 años, ha llegado a ser el jugador español que más lejos ha llegado en un torneo del European Poker Tour de PokerStars.
