Este viernes 30 de enero empezará la cuarta temporada del Campeonato de España de Poker (CEP) con la primera parada en el Casino de Peralada en el norte de Cataluña.
El patrocinador EuroSuperPoker y los organizadores del CEP anunciaron unos cambios para esta edición del circuito que implantaron por primera vez en la etapa de la Gran Final que se celebró entre el 12 y el 14 de diciembre 2008 en Magaluf, Mallorca. El stack inicial de los jugadores ya será de 15.000 chips y no los 10.000 que se jugaba y los niveles durarán 50 minutos en lugar de los 40 que ha sido la norma hasta ahora.Se espera un aumento significativo de asistentes a este evento, hasta más de 200 jugadores que sería un récord para la primera etapa del CEP.Cada torneo se disputará en 3 días – el viernes se celebrará el supersatélite clasificatorio, el día sábado se jugará el evento principal con la final puesta en marcha el domingo a la vez del torneo paralelo. EuroSuperPoker van a iniciar un nuevo ranking general para entregar premios de dinero en efectivo a los diez mejores jugadores del año en la Gran Final 2009 en el Casino de Villajoyosa en diciembre.
