WSOPE Main Event Day 4: Seidel out, Juanda's stack just keeps on growing

Wednesday, 1 October 2008

He began the day as one of the short stacks and adopted a patient approach in a bid to cure his chip problem. In the end he had to move with rags and ran into rockets.

Putting his last 18,500 into the pot, Seidel ran into the Aces of Soren Kongsgaard. The eight-time bracelet winner picked up a pair on the flop but was unable to improve further.

Meanwhile, John Juanda has turned into a wreckling machine and he has the stack to prove it. First of all he eliminated Mel Judah in 21st, cracking Judah's pocket queens with Ace-Five before sending Kim-Andre Torsvik out in 20th. This time Juanda had the ladies, his queens good enough to eliminate Torsvik.
