WSOP Europe Event 2: HORSE down to four

WSOP Europe Event 2: HORSE down to four

Wednesday, 24 September 2008

It was a golden chance for Ivey to make back some of that money he has out on the bracelet prop bets, but it wasn't to be for the man from Atlantic City. Ivey is out, and it is now wide open for the winner of the second event here in London.

Another highly respected pro, Mark Gregorich, went out in the last twenty minutes, falling victim to Sherkan Farnood in the Hold'em round. His Ace-Jack was unable to improve against the pocket fives of Farnood, and we're now playing four-handed at the final table.

While Ivey might have been the household name, it wasn't his day today. Now it falls on Lederer to pick up the mantle of 'high-profile' winner, althought with a lot of play still left, this could be a *very* late night at the Casino in the Empire.

Howard LedererHoward Lederer takes on three others in his quest for WSOPE gold.
