WSOP Europe Event 1: Day 1b comes to a close

WSOP Europe Event 1: Day 1b comes to a close

Sunday, 21 September 2008

If there were ever a gremlin in the Bluff Europe I.T. department, it appeared today. A faulty power pack, trotting around most of London, and a good couple of hours later, and we're back in action.

So, what has been happening on the floor? Well, the overnight chip leader using the sophisticated technology that is the Bluff Europe Online Editor Eye is Adam Junglen, who actually had to ask for a second bag to get his bootie into.

Also still in contention is Phil 'Unabomber' Laak, Andy Black and almost namesake Andy Bloch. Those who won't be winning the first bracelet in the 2008 WSOPE include Annette Obrestad, Dave Ulliott, Howard Lederer and Mike Matusow, none of whom could negotiate their way around the shark (or possibly fish) infested waters.

The internet generation is well represented going into Day 2 tomorrow, with Shaun Deeb, Isaac Haxton and aforementioned Adam Junglen still in the hunt to take down the lion's share of the £615,000 prize pool. Join us tomorrow for a day when hopefully the power won't die on the Bluff Europe reports. One time!!
