Ziigmund kills the CAP PLO games for over $500,000

Tuesday, 24 August 2010

We recently reported that Ziigmund had lost over $600,000 in a few days and was taking a summer break from poker. Apparently the CAP PLO games don’t count as Finnish pro Sahamies took to the $200/$400 tables and won back most of his early August deficit.

Shockingly, Phil Ivey was the day’s biggest loser after coming away from the tables $450,000 lighter, proving that it happens to everyone. He played an unusually high volume of hands (over 1,600) but that didn’t stop him finishing bottom of the league for last night.

Tom “durrrr” Dwan had bad news for the other high stakes pros – throughout the weekend he played every game possible from CAP PLO to NL to the 7-game and despite a $170,000 loss at the $200/$400 PLO tables managed to win $355,000 in all the poker disciplines.

Watch out, guys – Dwan is getting good at mixed games. See him crush the opposition at Full Tilt Poker.
