XWINK continues run; wins $1.2m in 36 hours on Full Tilt Poker

Friday, 11 March 2011

We recently reported that Canadian player XWINK, famously known as XBLINK on UB where they turned $11 into $700,000 in the span of a few weeks, had done similar feats on Full Tilt where a $4,000 deposit became millions.

XWINK is exercising the “fantastic bankroll management” that he or she is famous for, taking on Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius to name but two at $300/$600 and $500/$1,000 PLO. When all was said and done, XWINK emerged a $300,000 winner on Thursday but with five or six $300,000 pots won or lost on the day you can see how close it was.

This put XWINK up $1.6m for March from that $4,000 deposit (though he/she admitted that he/she had cashed out $500,000 or so) and returned last night for an epic session that saw him/her win over $900,000 from Rui Cao, Andreas “skjervoy” Torbergsen and David “raptor” Benefield. He also took on Tom “durrrr” Dwan briefly at $300/$600 and lost a quick $35,000.

However, this puts XWINK up nearly two million dollars for the month of March and we can’t wait to see how the action goes in the coming days.
