Who is jungleman12? That guy in the well

Friday, 14 May 2010

Over at the Two Plus Two forums they’ll often make a “Well” post where a certain player is “in the Well” for a while and answers questions from the community. This time around it’s jungleman12, who is May’s biggest winner on Full Tilt and one of the regulars at the $25/$50 level all the way to $200/$400.

We were wondering about him, and surely you were too. We can now tell you he’s 20, attends the University of Maryland studying Economics and is good friends with URnotINdanger2. He was playing $0.25/$0.50 two years ago and now takes on the likes of Isildur1 and Tom “durrrr” Dwan at the nosebleed stakes.

“It's probably a good idea to move up from low stakes fastish and steadily slow down as you go higher and higher, which is basically what I did,” he advises. He claims to have never moved up before he was confident that he could beat every regular at his current stake.

He’s won several hundred thousand from durrrr on Full Tilt this year and over $2m since 2009. His largest downswing was a much-publicised match against Isildur1 where he lost “half my roll” after dropping $480,000.
