WCOOP – 2FLY2TILT makes third final; Noah Boeken wins

The ninth and tenth days of the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker have continued to burst guarantees and award huge prizes. Not only that but some notable names have risen to the top – skill game, innit.

Firstly, Joel Adam Gordon, aka double bracelet-winner 2FLY2TILT, made his third final table of the 2011 WCOOP. He finished in sixth place out of 1,086 players in the PLO Turbo 1r1a event, making his third final table in a third discipline of poker. This extended his lead at the top of the Player of the Series leaderboard and he’s looking hard to catch. The event was won by MiPwnYa, who pwned everyone to finish first and take home $72,996.48.


Mickey “mement_mori” Petersen was just recently unveiled as the newest member of PokerStars Team Online and set out proving why he is worthy to join those ranks – the very next day, he made the final table of the $320 Stud event, busting in third and taking home $10,868.25.


Finally, established PokerStars Team Pro Noah Boeken managed to snag his first WCOOP bracelet in the $320 6-max Mixed Hold ‘em. A total of 814 players competed in the Limit/No Limit mix and Boeken beat out a final table including Shaun Deeb before taking the title and $44,480.50.
