Viktor Blom's Million Dollar Days

Viktor Blom's Million Dollar Days

Monday, 14 January 2013

Viktor “Isildur1” Blom experienced another $1 million day yesterday, but this time it wasn’t one he’ll want to remember.

Having enjoyed 11 winning days out of 12 recently, the Swede’s run was interrupted again in the last 24 hours by Phil Galfond.

Battling each other for the second time in as many days, the pair engaged in some intense which helped contribute to Blom’s $1,076,742 deficit at the end of the day.

The encounter dropped his yearly total to just over $4 million, while Galfond’s $1,070,595 win took his 2013 profit to a respectable $1,339,897.
One player who isn’t enjoying the restart of Full Tilt’s high stakes action is Ben Sulsky. Playing under the alias “Sulsky1234”, the American grinder who topped 2012’s leaderboard has lost a total of $2,091,668.

Indeed, while it seemed Ben was able to reign supreme in PokerStars' games, the landscape is certainly a very different one of Full Tilt Poker and one that seems to suit the game’s original high stakes legends such as Galfond and Blom.
