URnotINdanger2 takes on sauce1234; loses $300,000

Tuesday, 9 November 2010

While Jonathan Duhamel and John Racener were playing out their heads-up match for the first prize of $8,944,310 and the WSOP Main Event title; Scott “URnotINdanger2” Palmer and Sauce1234 took each other on for a hundred times as many hands.

Over the course of 4,132 hands the two battled at the $100/$200 NL tables with interesting results. Throughout, URnotINdanger2 was dominating and hit peaks of being up $200,000 twice in the match – in fact, he was six figures in the black for several thousand hands.

It was only in the last quarter that Sauce1234 really began to claw his way back and wound up a $289,000 winner by the last hand after winning some big pots both showdown and non-showdown.

Now that all the excitement and hubbub at Las Vegas has died down expect to see a resurgence in the high stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker.
