ToetagU wins SCOOP Main Event

Tuesday, 18 May 2010

The latest incarnation of PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) is in the book with close to 131,000 players appearing in 134 events creating a whopping prize pool of almost $64m.

The $10,300 buy in Main Event was won by Ryan 'ToetagU' Fair who outlasted a 615 runner field to take down the $1.16m first prize. Fair had a tough battle with Kristoffer Thorsson but eventually sealed the win holding pocket jacks against the Swede's pocket 7s. A jack on the river gave Fair a full house, the title and a whacking great amount of cash.
