Shaun Deeb wins WCOOP Event 28, $1,050 NLHE

“Was 16-tabling and thought I won the $11r but turned out it was the WCOOP” Deeb tweeted, maybe jokingly, after winning his second WCOOP career title at PokerStars in Event 28, the 2-day $1,050 NLHE, for a $244,000 payday.
Deeb, who apparently retired from tournament poker a few months ago, also won the Full Tilt Poker $750,000 guarantee last Sunday for $132,000. He adds this WCOOP bracelet to another as well as a SCOOP title at PokerStars.
In other WCOOP news, tiltingly-named user ‘26071985’ earned the bracelet in the $320 6-max NLHE event; Darreta took down the PLO $320 1 rebuy 1 addon; kardioloq earned the gold in the $530 NL shootout final table.
