Shaun Deeb wins Full Tilt Poker $750,000 guarantee
Tuesday, 7 September 2010

Pro Shaun Deeb is well known for three things – the unusual level of respect he commands from the slavering dogs in the Two Plus Two forums; the uncanny ability he possesses to crush tournaments; his penchant for playing in drag.

No word from Bluff Europe’s fashion correspondent on what Deeb was wearing on Sunday but whatever it was seemed to help as he took down the $216 Full Tilt Poker $750,000 guaranteed for over $130,000.

Deeb, playing under the alias of “tedsfishfry”, bested Rafal “lilfishy897” Michalowski heads-up with the little fish getting fried and taking home $80,250 for his runner-up finish. In total, 3,397 entrants meant Full Tilt had to put in some overlay to make the $750,000 guarantee.

The Sunday Mulligan, Sunday Brawl and $200,000 guarantee all met their prize pool totals meaning that Full Tilt Poker gave away over $1,000,000 in just four tournaments on Sunday.
