Robert Mizrachi and Daniel Alaei miss out on SCoOP title

Saturday, 15 May 2010

This was, amazingly, the first day of 12 where the PokerStars Spring
Championship of Online Poker did not produce a 6-figure first prize.
However, the 8-game $3,000 tournament got a talented field and a
$400,000 prize pool.

Notables at the six-handed final table were Robert “The Grinder’s
brother” Mizrachi and Daniel Alaei, High Stakes Poker star. Unfortunately they could do no better than 5th and 4th place respectively for $25,000 and $33,000. Shame, Robert could have used the $85,000 first prize to help his brother out with the taxman.

Chad Brown, Justin “BoostedJ” Smith and Alexander Kostritsyn all made
the money but failed to hit a final table. The medium event of the
tournament, a $300 8-game with a $185,000 prize pool saw Noah Boeken
make a final table.

The full results for the high stakes mixed game event were as follows:

1. McMang: $85,345
2. Pedrobä ($72,000)
3. GlassOfBeer ($68,000)
4. steamraise's ($33,915)
5. who's bad ($25,935)
6. Jeetorious ($17,955)
