PostFlopAction wins $994k in a week

Tuesday, 9 February 2010

You know those guys who win a major tournament then disappear out of the poker world? Cough, Jerry Yang, cough. Alexander Kostritsyn is not one of them.

The online cash game wizard has played a decent amount of hands this week, totting up 6,000. His winrate has been phenomenal, netting him a tidy profit of $993,651.50 for the month thus far.

Brian Hastings built on his record $4.2m session against Isildur1, clocking up half a million since February 1. Cole “CTS” South continued his hot streak that landed him a $1.5m January as he added $664k to his 2010 total.
Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies was the week’s big loser. He dropped $1.1m which takes his 2010 total back to zero. As he’d probably say: “no big deal, whatever.” Meanwhile, his countryman Patrik Antonius won back $570,000 of the $1.8m he lost in January, taking his 2010 losses to $1.35m or so, about $250,000 more than Brian Townsend.
