PokerStars WCOOP Day 6 – over $700,000 awarded

Monday, 13 September 2010

Despite the fact that the PLO 6-max event didn’t quite meet the prize pool guarantee – only the second time this has happened in the 2010 WCOOP – it was still a successful day at the tables in the 2010 World Championship of Online Poker. Unusually, however, there was not a No Limit Hold ‘em event in sight.

Four, five or even seven cards apiece was the poker style at the beginning of the weekend with the $500,000 guaranteed PLO 6-max; the $50,000 guaranteed 2-7 Lowball; the $100,000 guaranteed 8-game. The latter two more than made up for the shortfall in the PLO as 1,671 players entered the $109 8-game and 367 dealt into the 2-7 Draw.
