The first post-WCOOP Sunday of 2011 evidently saw PokerStars players still keen for big tournaments as both the Sunday Million and the Sunday Warm-Up burst their guarantees by over six figures – as did the humble $11 buy-in Sunday $200k, which wound up with a prize pool of more than $300k.

The Sunday Warm-Up saw 3,249 players create a prize pool of nearly $650,000 with first place taking home over $100k. German MTT grinder schweinix arrived at the final table third in chips but wound up taking a chip lead of more than 4-1 against BoomBoomX, eventually winning with Q-Q versus A-T after all the money went in before the flop.

In the Sunday Million, 6,593 players saw the $1m guarantee shattered by more than $300,000 with over $200,000 going to the winner. The event was eventually won by p3rc4 who beat I7AXA heads-up, forcing them to settle for second and $148,352.50.
