Phil Ivey beats Kagome Kagome out of $432,000 at $3k/$6k Limit

Friday, 4 March 2011

Phil Ivey and German heads-up Limit Hold ‘em specialist Kagome Kagome took to the $3,000/$6,000 tables over the past evening and Ivey opened up another can of ass-whoopin’, taking the German to the cleaners for $432,000.

This puts Kagome Kagome’s losses to Ivey at over two million dollars both on Kagome Kagome and his old IHateJuice moniker. However, he has said that he considers Ivey “the final boss in Fixed Limit heads-up”, implying that he feels when he has beaten Ivey he will be the best in the world.

Kagome Kagome is down a million dollars trying to reach that goal, however. In 2011 thus far he has dropped seven figures though his success at smaller-stakes games against opponents who are not Phil Ivey should more than make up for it.
