Phil Galfond leaves BlueFirePoker training site
Monday, 12 December 2011

Phil Galfond has announced that he is parting ways with BlueFirePoker, coming as a shock to many in the poker community who had always thought of BlueFirePoker as “Phil Galfond’s training site”.

“It’s very hard to walk away from something I helped build from the ground up, but the most difficult aspect of this is the fact that I’ll miss the community… the members and my fellow coaches,” Galfond wrote in a post on Two Plus Two. “Please know that it was a very difficult decision that I struggled with for a long, long time. I'm sorry that I can't elaborate further.”

Originally, Galfond’s statement was posted on his BFP blog but it was removed for unknown reasons. “For the members, I'll be making four more videos, and then saying my final goodbye. I'd like to try and customize these last four as much as possible for you guys, so please tell me exactly what you’d like to see or hear me talk about.”
