Patrik Antonius finally has a winning session

Tuesday, 23 February 2010

It’s fairly safe to assume that Isildur1’s rampage around the nosebleed online games late last year taught every player a lesson or two in keeping variance down. At least, that’s our theory when you look at how popular the $200/$400 capped PLO games are.

Patrik Antonius was another who took to those tables last night, finally having a winning session in 2010 after scoring a nice $180,000 profit in just under a thousand hands. While it’s a deckchair off the Titanic as he is still seven figures in the red this year, it will be nice for the world’s most successful online player to be back on form.

Fellow Finn Ziigmund took a big hit at Antonius’s return, losing over $150,000. In the meantime, Brian Townsend continued his torrid 2010 by losing another $200,000 and Gus Hansen had an off day, losing the same.
Watch durrrr rebuild his bankroll, Hansen storm through the tables and Ziigmund blow up in six-figure pots at Full Tilt Poker.
