Tom Dwan's latest challenge match against Daniel Cates is up and running with Durrrr taking an early lead in the 50,000 hand series.
Durrrr squared off against Jungleman12 in their first match overnight with Dwan up $130k after their opening session of 1,651 hands. Writing on his blog earlier this week Durrrr revelaed that the latest challenge would be made up of four tables of $200/$400 No Limit Hold'em. The pair would also make use of the run it twice option throughout the challenge. As you'd expect from nosebleed level players the stakes are high with a side bet of $1.5m / $500k should either player be up by as little as a dollar after the 50,000 hand contest.Dwan's clash against Patrik Antonius appeared die a slow death but the prospects for the latest Durrrr Challenge appear more promising if the opening skirmishes are to be believed. If the chat box is to be believed there be more action for the railbirds later today.Follow the action at Full Tilt Poker.
