Isildur1 wins $1m then loses $500,000

That’s the Isildur1 we know and love! In a massive session at Full Tilt Poker, Isildur1 managed to win seven figure before losing the majority of it. He took on Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies at $300/$600 and $500/$1,000 PLO, winning over $1,000,000 before losing $550,000 to Brian Hastings in PLO and a further $300,000 to Cole South and Justin Bonomo at NLHE.
Shortly after Ziigmund’s $1.04m loss he said: “give my money to Hastings, gg.” Well, Sahamies might be quite self-depreciating but at least now he can say he’s psychic. After Ziigmund’s massive loss, Isildur1 went on to try Hastings at PLO again, losing $543,000. Cole South won $81,000 at NLHE and Justin Bonomo earned over $220,000 in an epic heads-up $200/$400 match.
In the battle of the Scandinavians, the biggest pot came when Isildur1 called Ziigmund’s $27,000 4-bet before the flop at $500/$1k PLO. The rest of the money went in on the Qd-5d-6h board, with Ziigmund showing AA84 for a gutshot straight draw and an overpair. Isildur1 had him crushed, however, with QQT3 and a rivered 5 made him a full house, earning him a $425,000 pot.
