Isildur1 wins $1.5m at Full Tilt Poker

Wednesday, 9 December 2009

Isildur1 once again went on the rampage at Full Tilt Poker, winning a total of $1.5m and causing jungleman12 and Ziigmund to suffer some heavy losses.

A session of $100/$200 with jungleman12, lasting thousands of hands, left Isildur1 with a $500,000 net profit – his opponent’s entire bankroll.

jungleman12: congrats sir
jungleman12: are you happy now!
Isildur1: ty
jungleman12: youve broken me
jungleman12: sigh
Isildur1: :/
Isildur1: u get it back
jungleman12: lol
jungleman12: ow

After this resounding victory, the Swede went on to take on Brian Townsend, Patrik Antonius and Ziigmund. While Townsend found himself down $1m at first, he eventually came back to win the small sum of $50,000 from Isildur1.

Antonius also scored a win – around $350,000 – but his fellow Finn, Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, did not fare so well as he lost around $2m to the Swede. Interestingly, Isildur1 lost over $850,000 at the $300/$600/$100 tables but made the bulk of his profits at $500/$1,000 – perhaps, when not everyone at the table is playing as loose as him in order to pick up the antes, he does in fact have an edge.
