Isildur1 down around $250,000 at Full Tilt Poker

Thursday, 7 October 2010

The return of Isildur1 to the high stakes tables on Full Tilt Poker has been long anticipated and we don’t want to use the word “anti-climax” but... well, he is down approximately a quarter of a million dollars in the past week.

Obviously the sample size is meaningless but it is disappointing when we were hoping for him to be up around three or four million by now. In all seriousness, though, Isildur1 – who has been sticking exclusively to the $100/$200 and lower NL tables – has had a bad run thus far this month.

He lost around $150,000 to bemyguestbud at $25/$50 PLO after an intense heads-up multi-tabling session before losing a further $90,000 to KTPOKP at $100/$200 NL. He has also had some clashes with Daniel “jungleman12” Cates and Tom “durrrr” Dwan in his return but neither match was particularly explosive.

All he needs is one hot streak and he’ll be back at the highest nosebleed stakes before long.
