Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies down $1.7m in October

Thursday, 14 October 2010

Ziigmund got off to a roaring start on Full Tilt Poker this month but has soon plummeted and has now lost $1.7m in the past two weeks. This is pretty standard for Ilari Sahamies, who is well known for his multi-million dollar swings.

Last night he lost over $300,000 in around 1,000 hands to bring his October losses closer to two million, which seemed to be a tad irritating for the temperamental player:

harrington25: zig ur learning good
Ziigmund: ?
harrington25: are u done playing
Ziigmund: so unlucky
Ziigmund: so f tilt

Gus Hansen is the only other player to have lost more than seven figures this month, down $1.02m – this is after a $450,000 win over the weekend, too. Isildur1 is also on the October loser’s list down $193,000 while despite not being online for several days, Tom “durrrr” Dwan tops the winners list with $1.05m earned in just 8,700 hands.
