High stakes PLO action – durrrr and Ziigmund win

Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies followed up his weekend destruction of Cole South and Brian Hastings with some more PLO action last night. This time the stakes were reduced to ‘just’ $300/$600 and he couldn’t top the leaderboard. That honour went to Tom “durrrr” Dwan who boosted his bankroll by $365,000 in a little under 3,000 hands.

It was the Dang brothers who lost out on this session with trex313 and Urindanger each losing more than $400,000 over the session. Despite this figure, though, trex313 won the largest pot of the weekend when he flopped top set and turned a full house with QQ96 on a Qs-8d-6h board. Esvedra held A754 for the wrap that was rendered useless when the board paired on the turn.


Also profiting from the Dangs’ misfortune was David Benefield who took home over $200,000 after a brief stop in the $300/$600 games.
