Gus Hansen wins over a quarter million at CAP PLO

Friday, 5 November 2010

Despite Gus Hansen having won over $2,000,000 online in the past month he is still down over $1,500,000 for the year – however if he can keep up the amazing run he’s been having playing the 7-game; $2,000/$4,000 Omaha 8 and the highest stakes PLO then he’s on course to be up almost $3,000,000 by the time 2011 hits.

His latest result came at the expense of Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and unknown player DrugsOrMe, both of whom lost six figures to Hansen playing the $500/$1,000 CAP PLO game. Hansen then picked up over $50,000 in the 7-game mix and netted a total profit of over $300,000 for the night.

Hansen is still one of the biggest high stakes losers on Full Tilt Poker, down over $9,000,000 since tracking sites began recording the games. However, the fixed limit games and mixed tables have only been recently tracked and Hansen seems to be doing well in them so who knows what the actual figure is?

Why, only The Great Dane himself.
