Di “Urindanger” Dang earns $1.7m for January at Full Tilt

Thursday, 3 February 2011

The Dang brothers have always been a consistent force in nosebleed games at Full Tilt but it was Di “Urindanger” Dang that flew solo to be the biggest winner in the high stakes games for January 2011. It’s a great start to the year for Dang, who reported losses of $1.2m in the now-infamous Macau cash games.

Dang, who plays under “ilvdnfl” at PokerStars and “Urnotindanger” at Full Tilt Poker, won approximately $1.7m on the month across both sites to make him by far and away the biggest winner in 2011 so far. Apart from Sam Trickett or Erik Seidel but that hardly ranks in the same league.

Scott Palmer was just $43,000 away from making a somewhat amusing runner-up finish in the top winners for January as “URnotINdanger2” made a tidy $863,000 on the month. It’s good for third place behind Gus Hansen, whose run in the PLO cap games helped him take home $905,000 on January.

Surprisingly, Phil Ivey was the second biggest loser of January with a $612,000 loss over just eight sessions. Russian player NEKOTYAN played half the amount of sessions but still managed to drop the better part of a million dollars for the month.
