David Benefield loses $842,000 in 48 hour period

Monday, 29 November 2010

David Benefield sat down at the poker tables on Saturday and shortly came to regret that decision. He proceeded to lose $386,000 playing the biggest PLO game going versus Patrik Antonius who can add that to his million dollars from IhateJuice before dropping almost a quarter-million dollars in the CAP PLO game.

Benefield shook off the half-million plus loss though and was back at the tables the very next morning. Fortunately it didn't go as badly as the day before but he still couldn't turn a profit, losing $234,000 against URnotINdanger2 playing heads-up $200/$400.

Despite this loss, Benefield still has over $1.5m recorded profit at Full Tilt Poker's nosebleed games since the beginning of this year. He has put in the effort, too - his 77,004 hands for 2010 puts him ahead of most other regulars on the profits list.
