Cole South ends the week with a $170,000 win at Full Tilt

Tuesday, 24 August 2010

Former CardRunners instructor and high stakes regular Cole “cts” South emerged as the biggest winner over Saturday and Sunday having played over 1,500 hands and clocking up a tidy profit of $171,230.

Unfortunately for the rail, most of the action was in the CAP PLO games but these guys play to win; not to entertain people watching. If that’s where the money is then that’s where the money is and judging by the fact that Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies recently made over half a million at the $200/$400 tables the money certainly is there.

South wasn’t the only player who managed to score a six-figure win with ‘superbaldas’ and ‘Luukie21’ also making over $100,000. At the opposite end of the spectrum was Gus Hansen who lost $375,000 and – even more unusually for the second report in a row – Phil Ivey, who wound up down $270,000 after 832 hands.
