Brutal PLO swings for Cole South – down $3m

This news piece is mostly an illustration of the brutal swings one can suffer playing Pot-Limit Omaha, even if you are one of the game’s best. CardRunners instructor extraordinaire Cole “cts” South was 2010’s biggest winner in February, topping the leaderboard with over $3.5m in profit at Full Tilt Poker.

Now, he’s about even after losing over $3,000,000 in the past three weeks
playing mostly $300/$600 and $500/$1,000 PLO. He’s taken some huge losses against Ziigmund, Isildur1 and durrrr to mean he is now down $3.12m in March.


Also joining him in the losers’ corner are Patrik Antonius, who increased his 2010 losses by $1.6m this month while fellow Scandinavian Gus Hansen is in the red by seven figures.


Ziigmund, durrrr and Urindanger have all been clearing up, on the other hand – Ziigmund and durrrr have made about $2m each this month while Di “Urindanger” Dang boasts over $1.1m profit.
