James Obst, better known by his online handle of Andy McLEOD, has to be considered one of the very best tournament players in the world. Not only does he have multiple Sunday Million final tables under his belt, but his recent SCoOP win adds to a glowing resume.

His victory in the $3,150 Mixed Hold ‘em event last night is one more notch in a bedpost that covers all poker disciplines across multiple sites. How many people have an FTOPS win, a WCoOP win and a SCoOP win in three different games? He received $184,000 for his win.

So far PokerStars’s Spring Championship of Online Poker has been a resounding success – the three buy-in levels are a stroke of genius and allow poorer players to have the feeling of competing in a huge poker event. Some are – the first low 6-max Hold ‘em event received over 20,000 competitors gunning for a six-figure first prize.
