Andreas Torvaldson wins $1m in 24 hours; good2cu runs hot

Thursday, 30 September 2010

Andreas Torvaldson, aka Skjervoy, isn’t a name that gets mentioned much in the talk of high stakes players but in the past twenty-four hours he has gone on an Isildur1-esque run, accumulating more than $1.1m in profit.

It all began at the $500/$1,000 PLO tables where Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies was sitting alongside ‘cadillac1944’ who is thought by some to be Tom McEvoy. Torvaldson sat down and it took just 536 hands for him to take $600,000 from cadillac1944 and a further six figures from Ziigmund. This in addition to the $150,000 he’d won from cadillac1944 the previous day bought him close to the million milestone.

He then continued to play cadillac1944 heads-up at the highest stakes PLO tables and wound up booking a $450,000 win to take his profit in twenty-four hours to more than $1.1m – cash out while you’re ahead, Andreas!
