September was another month of increasing high stakes cash action over at PokerStars. Since the Armageddon of Full Tilt Poker the nosebleed regulars have been moving out of the US and taking their bankrolls to PokerStars, with $200/$400 a regular stake there.

Ilari “The Artist Formerly Known as Ziigmund” Sahamies summed up the month when he shipped the biggest cash pot in PokerStars history, earning a $428k monsterpotten at the nosebleed Omaha tables that have been hosting most of the action. He was the third-biggest winner online, taking home $899k for September.

Ahead of him were two players with million dollar months – Team PokerStars Online member Ta-Chih “socutiesf” Geeng earned over $600k in the first two weeks of September and continuing the heater to book a $1.06m month. Just ahead of him was Rafi “rafaelamit” Amit, who booked $1.07m for the month.

On the other end of the spectrum, Andreas Torbergsen had a dire September, losing $671k, while Gavin “gavz101” Cochrane, Rui “PepperoniF” Cao and Niki “RealAndyBeal” Jedlicka all dropped over $250k. Current EPT chip leader Benny Spindler made over half a million dollars playing online for September.
