iPoker’s Betfold at the centre of controversy

Tuesday, 29 December 2009

The 2,000,000,000th hand celebrations on the immense iPoker network have been marred by a controversy surrounding the winner of the $60,000 worth of prizes.

A player known as Derrickki was ten-tabling heads-up NLHE in the hopes of hitting the 2bnth hand and he did, playing at iPoker site Betfold.

However, in a fast-growing thread on the Two Plus Two poker forums, he claims that the $60,000 worth of cash and tournament tickets has not yet materialised, leading to speculation that Betfold were not part of the “network-wide” 2,000,000,000th hand promotion at iPoker.

This isn't the first time that the Two Plus Two forums have got stuck into Betfold. Many players have been complaining about delayed payments and poor customer support response time at Betfold since late November.
